Rev. Brandan Robertson, Pastor

Rev. Brandan Robertson has served as the Pastor of Sunnyside Reformed Church since July 2023. Pastor Brandan is a noted author, activist, and public theologian working at the intersections of spirituality, sexuality, and social renewal. A prolific writer, he is the author or contributing author to twenty books on spirituality, justice, and theology. Previously, Pastor Brandan served as a Senior Pastor in San Diego and of a digital faith community based in Washington, DC.

Pastor Brandan also serves as a Senior Digital Ministry Fellow for Convergence, a Fellow for the Salzburg Global Seminar, and a Patron of both OneBodyOneFaith and the Ozanne Foundation USA. He’s has taught seminars for San Francisco Theological Seminary and Disciples Seminary Foundation and currently serves on the faculty of The Lakelands Institute.

Pastor Robertson received his Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and Theology from Moody Bible Institute, his Master of Theological Studies from Iliff School of Theology, and his Master of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration from Eastern Illinois University. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Biblical Studies from Drew University.
