Join the Sunnyside Reformed Church Choir!

Do you love to sing and want to be part of a welcoming, joyful community? The Sunnyside Reformed Church Choir is open to all who wish to share their passion for music and faith. Whether you're an experienced vocalist or just love singing, we invite you to join our volunteer group in musical fellowship. Our choir plays a vital role in enhancing worship services through a variety of musical styles contributing to the spiritual life of our church.

We present an annual Christmas concert and an end-of-season concert in June. Rehearsals are on Sundays at 10am prior to the service. The choir performs an anthem on each first Sunday of the month.

We welcome singers of all skill levels. Our rehearsals are a time for fun, learning, and connection as we grow together in one musical family.

If you'd like to become a member of the Sunnyside Reformed Church Choir, reach out to our Music Director, Magdalena Fowler at music@sunnysidereformedchurch.org. Come add your voice to our vibrant community!

Worship Music

We host a variety of musical experiences at our church. From the Sunnyside Reformed Church Choir performances to special musical offerings on our Sunday services, we are committed to presenting music that reflects our rich spiritual life and the talented artistic community of Sunnyside.

Our programming includes solo piano performances by our director of music, Magdalena Fowler, guest chamber ensembles, the Sunnyside Reformed Church choir concerts, the SRC Youth Series, and other evening and special holiday performances. Last year, our church hosted a sold-out performance of the acclaimed oratorio Considering Matthew Shepard, by Craig Hella Johnson, conducted by Scott Foss, produced and presented by Giuseppe Spoletini and Alli Foss, and introduced by the Right Reverend Bishop Gene Robinson.

Our doors are always open to new ideas for recitals and performance projects at our church. Should you have a proposal for a musical experience or concert, reach out to our music director.

We also rent out our space selectively for concerts, rehearsals, and student recitals. We have a Yamaha grand piano and an Allen electrical organ. We also own a beautiful set of Malmark Handbells. Our sanctuary fits approximately 220 people. For requests, please reach out to music@sunnysidereformedchurch.org
