Rev. Brandan Robertson, Pastor

Rev. Brandan Robertson (he/him) has served as the part-time Pastor of Sunnyside Reformed Church in New York City since 2023 and is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. With extensive pastoral experience and a passion for serving marginalized communities, Robertson’s ministry focuses on the intersection of faith, justice, and LGBTQ+ inclusion. Known for his dynamic pastoral work, he is committed to creating spaces where all people can explore faith and community.

Robertson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute, a Master of Theological Studies from Iliff School of Theology, and a Master of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration from Eastern Illinois University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Biblical Studies at Drew University. Widely recognized for his leadership in progressive faith, Robertson is also an accomplished author, contributing to over 25 books on theology, spirituality, and justice.
